Default Snow tray clips

Does anyone have the clips that go in the front footwells to hold the snow trays in place?

I just found a set of NOS trays and clips for sale from America... I have screenshot the clips as they look fairly simple so I will have a go at knocking them up, if it goes well I will make a pair for you too David.

Hi Luke, that would be great, hope you can make some, of course I'll pay you for some, the trays are good, but a pain in the A*** how they keep sliding forward on drivers side, (bet you get more asking for them) David.

I don't have a problem with my Volvo trays in the 745 which I have had since the car was new. They are very shaped (more so the driver and front passenger sides) and have small bumps all over the underside which I guess stops any sliding forwards on the carpet. My problem is that after nearly 30 years my heel has worn a slight hole in the drivers side one!

I didn’t know that the tray was named a “snow tray”, but it makes sense. I managed to source a full set at a breaker many years ago but haven’t seen any recently. I did acquire a slightly different version a while ago, again from a breaker, but the front trays don’t have the slots at the rear outside edge to fit over the clips, so they move around so I don’t use them. My original tray on the driver’s side now has a hole worn in by the heel of my clutch foot. I glued a piece of thin conveyor belting over the hole. I think that I used “evostick” instant. It doesn’t look very good but it has done the job for a few years now, to the point where it may soon need to be replaced. I would like a replacement tray if I could source one.
