The missing at high RPM has now been removed. As said before I had changed the spark plugs after find some had no terminals or not screwed down correctly.

Take a look at the dizzy cap..

What a joke! I stuck it in my shot blast cabinet on low pressure and could now see how bad it really was. It must have had star ship millage.

Picked up a bargan on ebay. My new roof rack. £40

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mont-Blan...72.m2749.l2649

Fit's very nicely so if you want a cheap rack buy this!

I'll be raising the roof of my shed. It's getting a 12" rise.

When I bought my shed from Ebay I clearly did not read the listing correcly. The height from floor to top of door was around 5 foot. I raised it about 5" but at the time I was very poor so had to live with my cheap and nasty shed.

What a pain it's going to be taking the roof off but it's worth it. No more hitting my head!

it's just my luck. The sodding alternator bolt snapped off just before catching a flight. I only knew it was broken when I landed and went to leave the airport carpark.

After some bodging I made it home!

I decided to get rid of the useless exhaust valve which opens the 3" exit. It kept jamming up so in the pictures is my boost operated version i'm having welded up right now.

Also going is the 16T turbo and going in will be a 19T. I went with a CHRA 19t and a 19t housing. My 16T (none oil leaking) turbo will be for sale in next month.

Does your old turbo need modded flange/etc or does it stick to stock mountings?

Hi,

My 16T will slot into the exhaust housing of a 13c (standard turbo) My car has a angled downpipe but i can't see it being an issue as it's the inside you swap.

However my 19T will fit a 13c turbo exhaust housing but the inlet side would not fit hence why I had to pay out for the inlet.

Sometime since an update. The exhaust bypass was welded and fitted to the car. I managed to get a vacuum bleed valve to open/close it with some success but it really need's a solenoid and pressure switch. I have that ready to be installed.

The 19T is now installed and working well up to 10psi but I noticed the wastegate is jammed on the oil return so a job for later. My mistake...

The power steering rack was replaced as it was knocking. However I was still getting a vague feel/tugging on long sweeping bends. I have since replaced the pump and it now feels good but needs a long run out.

And I lost the seats in the boot. One of the seat belts was ripped so rather then replace I chucked the lot. No one wanted them.

MOT Passed with no comment :-)

Well it was running well but now likes to stall when coming down from revs with clutch in. It will idle fine though.

So far.

Found O2 sensor was lose and had been rammed into the boss. Cleaned threads on O2 and the boss.

Idle valve has been cleaned in ultrasonic cleaner.

crank sensor replaced

Smoke tested and no leaks found

crank sensor replaced

Throttle cable was on wrong rib so fixed that

spark plug ends lose and fixed.

Nothing has fixed the stalling and it's drinking fuel so I found this weekend. Half tank gone in 130 miles.

The injectors are out at the moment and being cleaned for new seals.

New engine temp sensor on order

Grrrrr

Do you have some charged air leak or vacuum leak anywhere? Might cause the AMM to get a dodgy reading....

None. I have a smoker machine tester which pumps smoke inside the engine.

It's absolutely amazing! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SMOKE-Dia...72.m2749.l2649

Someone on this forum suggest the turbo actuator as I had it off and messed. I'm running a 19T and getting the rod in the right place was a real pain and it was never right. I removed it and found it's been rubbing on the oil return.

lucacarmods.com sells a kit to location it into the correct place. I fitted one and now i'm seeing a power increase and no stalling (YET)

The kit did not 100% fit as I have a aftermarket 19t cold side and silicone hose but I made it fit.
