I have now got my BT Phone and installed it in my car!

Really well done Marek! Works better than other AUX alternatives I've tried before. But I have some questions.

I have set it to MD-CHGR and the sound seems to work properly. But I do not manage to get song tags in the radio display. I have tried the different MD-C, MD-C 1x etc. with the same result. Nothing happens when you press the PUSH MEM button.
Have I missed something? Is there something more need to be done on the radio?

Secondly, the contact sync does not handle our Swedish characters å, ä and ö (UTF-8). Should it be able to handle diacritic chars?

I have an S60 -04 with HU-803.

regarding the button "PUSH MEM" for MD-CHARGER: this is strange. do you see an error message after a while if you press it? or just nothing happends? do the other (next/prev) buttons work?

regarding chars. i will add it. can you also create some contacts (max 12 chars) to check all swedish diacritics chars ? thanks.

edit: i have checked the conversion table and these chars are there so it should works. what smartphone do you have? because UTF-8 supports only android. ios is quite stupid and use not happy logic. it converts almost all diactitic chars to " " (space). so i already receive it as an empty space.

No I do not receive any error message, I have not hold down the button for very long, but a few seconds and nothing happens at all.
The next/prev buttons work most of the times, sometimes I need to press several times or hold down the button a little longer.
Track numbers (TRK XX) are also updated when you change track.
Current and remaining time also works.

So I also think it's a bit strange. The "PUSH MEM" button works in Radio mode so the button itself works.


Ah okay, then I understand... I have an iPhone so that's why it becomes a space instead. Then I understand that there is not much you can do.
I wonder how Volvo does this in the cars that have Bluetooth original... Thanks for checking anyway!
