Default b230fk valve shims

I am struggling to get hold of valve shims for setting up my new cam shaft anybody got any ???or know where i can get them

You should be able to get whatever size you want from your local volvo dealer next day ..

i phones one of the local dealers and he said that volvo have stopped making them and he cant get them ..Maybe he was being lazy and couldnt be arsed to to look up the numbers
i will try another dealer see what they say

Hi,

They take 33mm dia shims, same ones as they use on old Alfa's and Lancia's, which can be bought from eBay or try this link Do you know what size you need? I'd suggest installing the cam, measure your old shims using a caliper micrometer, put them back in and then use a feeler gauge.

If you get stuck let me know and I'll see what I can do.

They have probably moved to the classic warehouse in Sweden , service is about a week . The parts man should know the process ...
