Post Bsr ppc stage 1

At the moment this is the package i will be going for in a month or so for my volvo s60 2.0T manual as heard alot of good about them
Who do i purchase from?
What prices??
And also if i get any problems whats service/help like???
And has anybody done this to a 2.0T??
Its already quick but cant help thinking of that quoted 228 brake horse and the 328 foot pound from just simply plugging in!!
Is this better for my car than a remap by a company as the bsr map is surely designed specialy for my car and will still be safe not shag my engine to bits????
Anybody that is in the know about these plug in bsr ppc units please shout up :-) help choosing my remap will be very much appreciated
Cheers liam

That's funny, I've heard nothing good about them....

Current flavour of the month (remap wise) seems to be Shark Performance. They appear to be pretty straight talking guys who are getting positive feedback from members on all the Volvo forums.

Personally, I'd start by getting in touch with them to see what they recommend.

BSR's UK wing (BSR UK .. durr!) support is useless. When I've ordered parts from them they've come from a Vaxhaul dealership (invoiced from them too, not from BSR) and recently he's been taking longer and longer to reply to emails. The actual BSR support guys are pretty quick at replying to emails and seem reasonably knowlegable when I've emailed them.

They will absolutely not "tweak" a map though, its a fixed off the shelf map or nothing, and the throttle mapping atrocious. Like for like with my BSR vs Stock, 20% pedal movement gets you about 50% throttle opening, and you're at 100% by about 75% travel.

If I was after a remap now .. I'd be looking at either MTE or Shark.
