You can easily see which element is affected as it will be the one(s) not demisting correctly, and then when you look closely you can usually see the break in the conductive paint. On mine, it looks like something has scratched the glass at one point. Must get round to fixing at some point...

Well, I placed two mugs of boiling water in the boot to steam the rear window up. (Yeah, I can think of more entertaining ways, too! But Mrs said she had ironing to do!!)
When I turned the demister on I found that four tracks were out. I couldn't see the breaks so used my meter to find them. If anyone is interested, I'll write up a noddy's guide as to how. So, I've just bought some repair paint ( it's not cheap is it?) and painted them over, only at the break. I'll have to wait until tomorrow before I can turn it on, but hopefully..... I'll let you know how I get on. (Even if it doesn't sort the radio reception, at least it will fix the demister)

OK. So, I think I've proved the radio interference is due to the demister.
I haven't fully repaired the demister, but the couple of tracks which have worked have made a difference to the reception. I was a bit disappointed with teh repair paint, though. I followed the instructions to the letter but two of the four cuts still didn't bridge. I've redone them today, so here's hoping.

How do I remove the green box amplifier? I can remove the coax connector, but can't see how to remove it

Interesting thread this one......as I have a couple of FM Transmitters. A not so good one, and a more expensive one. With both I find that no matter what frequency I have them on, I always get interference and this is WITHOUT the rear demister on. I can just never seem to get a clear transmission.

I've swapped my Green Amp for a replacement. No improvement. Any ideas? Also I now have a spare amp for sale

Warkman, you've still got time to proof read and re-write your reply in English, lol.
