Default Looking for help on V60 suspension part numbers

Hi,

I'm looking for some help identifying the Volvo part numbers for the front spring/struts on my Volvo V60 D6 R-Design (2017 Model Year) D97PHEV.

On my old V50 I could get the spring/damper info from the VIN plate, I can't seem to find this on the V60, unless it's hidden somewhere I'm not looking?

Unfortunately my Vida only goes up to 2015 models, also the list of spring/damper combinations goes into multiple pages.

I think my O/S Top mount is going, so want to build new complete struts and replace the lot like I did on my V50.

So need all the component part numbers to build a complete strut for LH/RH and potentially the control arms too, since I'd have them off anyway.

Any help appreciated,

Cheers!

Any volvo dealer can determine the part numbers you require from the chassis Type plate code characters and/or the factory build sheet .

The VIN plate is underneath the floor mat on the driver's side. There's a little flap, near where the rails are for the electric seat (the rail nearest the passenger side).

In saying that, VIDA isn't going to work on a car that new, so I don't think those numbers will mean anything anyway, without a way to decipher them?

This site may help, if you type your VIN number in. I'm not sure if it works for cars that new though. You'd have to check.

If you look low down on the windscreen, just above the dash you should see the VIN plate. Alternatively look in Sensus, MY Car, Info.

Its not on the VIN plate its on a sticker on one of the door surrounds the "Chassis Type Plate" But the codes wont mean anything they relate to springs , Dampers ETC which are listed in VIDA.

Thanks Clan, my mistake. When I first read the post I thought they were referring to the VIN number.

I found the VIN under the little carpet flap, never knew that was there.
Unfortunately not what I was looking for. I also checked out that website, but as you said my car is too new.

Thanks anyway

I think it’s the type plate code characters I’m looking for, can’t seem to find them on the V60, like they were on the door sticker of my 2011 V50.

Do the newer cars have these?

By any chance is there a plate inside the rear door on the driver's side?

Yes, unfortunately the rear door sticker doesn't carry as much information as it did on my old V50.
