190,000 mile S60 "T5 RS" 300bhp - Dodgy seller?
"THE CAR DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY-IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SUPER RELIABLE ECONOMICAL CAR YOU HAVE JUST FOUND IT
THIS IS THE SUPERIOR S60 T5 RS VERSION (RS - in logbook) THAT ARE BECOMING VERY SOUGHT AFTER AND TO FIND ONE IN THIS CONDITION ARE HARD TO COME BY." http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-S60-.../221706414813? Think somebody is going to be taken for a fool here.... 190,000 miles... looks like a regular T5 to me... ex police? Never heard of a "T5 RS" with 300bhp. Mentions nothing about a re-map or even the engine size......And at no stage is a T5 Volvo "economical"! Not so sure about the full body VOLVO sticker on the side! Buyer beware! |

His feedback seems good enough but the more important question for me is would I buy from anyone who wears a ring like that?! .......
Is it the Pope? Do you have to kiss it?

He's listed it as being taxed up to August this year so clearly is unaware that tax is not transferable to new owner. The title says '<300 Bhp' which could be equally be applied to a 1.1 Fiesta! If he did really spend £752 on 'carbon alloy' wheels perhaps he should have looked after them a bit better.

those alloys and graphics really let down what looks like an epic car.

What a bloody shed!! Its got stupid wheels, carbon covered steering wheel controls, what prat thought that looks good on a volvo. It's these upgrades that have given it the 300bhp you know! It's probs been raged everywhere from cold Ect The thing needs rescuing.

Don't know about the seller, but the description about the reliability and very sought after of a 200K miles car is disconcerting

'Black and Silver' 'R'-clocks - -- always thought these where blue faced, and if the clocks have been changed have they been coded properly?
