Default Knew it to good to be true .... HELP

Not sure if you have seen my other post ...http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=102432 has been running so lovely .... well until today !!! Grrrr

Car is NOT a 20v .... its a 10V !

Engine starts first turn of the key when cold first thing in the morning ... sometimes it takes a second turn of the key . Well today on our travels the Lambda Light came on and it was a total BuXXer to start when warm .... infact I really thought it wasnt going to start as it was coughing and spluttering to start . I left it for 5 minutes then tried again .... started fine then.

I have been searching through the forums and its pointing the problem to the camshaft sensor . Looking at the one on the car , It looks like its never been changed .

Im wondering is it worth buying a second hand one ... as eurocarparts want £115 .

Cam sensor in my experience usually fails compleatly and when cranking the rev counter wont move at all, but I've fitted 2nd hand ones before and gotten away fine

They are also known for leaking into the sensor and filling the sensor with oil and failing
