Default Upper Windscreen Trim

Hello,

I need to arrange for the roof of my wife’s V70 to be resprayed due to lacquer peel that materialised over the winter. I think I am ok with the removal of the roof rails but what I am not too sure about is the removal of the upper windscreen trim, how is this attached?:

Is it possible to remove it without breaking the trim (I’m mindful it’s been on the car for 21 years!)? Is this trim integral to the installation of the windscreen, i.e. do I need to remove the windscreen to remove the trim (I am hoping not)?

Thanks in advance

Ben
