Droverunner New Member Last Online: Jul 13th, 2018 23:46 Join Date: Jul 2018 Location: Cambridgeshire	Flywheel holding tool alternative. Part way through changing the timing belt and water pump on the 2007 C30 2.0D just bought for daughter. I'd ordered the Sealey flywheel holding/timing pin tool VSE6126 for delivery Tues/Wed but been let down and I have to finish the car by Sat. I undid the crank bolt with the old starter motor/spanner trick and I'm fine with sorting out some timing pins but wonder if there is a failsafe alternative to hold the flywheel teeth while final tightening of the crank bolt? It is likely I will be working single handed which adds to the problem.
