Default actuator

Before i bought my 850 t5 someone had increased the boost pressure by increasing the tension on the actuator.

does anyone know how i can this back to normal?

i've already wound it back out but i don't think it's right as the boost hits 11psi then drops to 7psi. Although this is fun i want to get it remapped so i need to get it back to standard.

any help would be appreciated(sp)

thanks
peter

Check round all vacuum pipes to turbo control valve make sure it hasn't got a MBC or similar lurking somewhere,

Don't T5's run 8psi peak as standard, if theres nothing there then i would say tyre lengthening it abit more,

When i fitted my 2.0t with a T4 turbo i had to turn actuater down 2 turns cos it was peaking at 17psi and holding 15psi which as you say was fun but not a very good idea, now peaks at 14psi and holds 12psi

your not far off it, 10 psi is about norm im led to believe.
if thers an MBC fitted, it will be in line between the BCS and the actuator pressure hose or in line between the pressure hose from the bottom of the turbo to the actuator and the BCS will have pipes blanked off.

you may have a prob somewhere as its peaking at11 psi but only holding
7 psi.
big drop off there.

with an MBC , mine peaks at 15 and holds 14.
