contact don at kalmar union hell sort you out with a dump valve kit ,it should be right up close to the throttle plate as far as racing goes . the best ones are always the more expensive - it wants to be a recirculating valve type really.

Our T5s really don't need dump valves at all..they will just ##### up your fueling and with an automatic gearbox you will hardly ever get to hear the 'pshhhhhh' sound anyway.

Our turbos already have built in recirculating valves, which, when the throttle plate is suddenly closed, bleed excess pressure into the intake again. This means the air going in is monitored. However, a dump valve vents it to the atmosphere and so the engine doesn't have as good a reading of air flow.

You only really need to upgrade to a dump valve over 18psi or something where it will speed things up a bit, but if you're still dead set on getting one make sure you get Don's www.kalmar-union.com because it includes a blanking plate for the recirculating valve, which is absolutely necessary.

When your ready to get serious!

Hi guys, I have seen the light, My friends said it is good for te turbo but I don't want to comprimise the economy. Its a lot of money to falk out for a hiss. I might leave it till a later date.

Standar just seems a little boring at the mo, I want a strut brace at least.

Alex you seem very clued up on this, is cool to contact you again about queries?

Cheers

Roy
