When your ready to get serious!

I just bought a air filter induction kit. (57i)

For the v70 t5.

does anyone knw what difference it will make?

There was not a air filter listed for v70 but there was for 850 t5, I presume they are the same, can someone confirm this please.

Anyway thank you.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Roy

Roy,

As far as I can tell with my 850r, it makes things a little more urgent when pulling away......can't guarantee it but there you go.

My car is a late 850r, which means a few little niggly difference betwixt it and a normal t5. The biggest problem I had was locating the cone unit itself, which the K&N instructions say should be off a bolt hole on the abs unit.

This doesn't work as my car has a smaller abs / tracs unit. To sort this I fabricated a bracket from steel ( a meccano type bracket would do the job) and attatched it to a spare hole on the top of the suspension strut. Dead easy really..

All the best,

Jim,

I stock the Pipercross induction kit. They have two specific fitting kits: one for the 850 T5 and another for the S/V/C 70. £85 plus VAT delivered. Better quality than K&N. Have a look at my site www.Kalmar-Union.com

Handy hint when you fit the induction kit....

Watch out that you get cold air routed to your induction kit - a cone full of warm air could be less potent than a standard airbox full of the cold stuff....!

Dear Roy, could you do me a favour and delete your signature or put it on the end of your messages rather than the beginning?

It's probably just fuddy-duddy old me, but I find them very irritating when they precede the important stuff.

(Incidentally, it's also misspelt...)
