We are talking ford duratec I asume.

the are a very common conversion but the do suffer from VSR as do must other Ford engines. Fitting a valves system will give you good life out of the head before needed any machining work. Typicaly about 100,000 miles of running with valve saver or 10,000 without.

Little update.

Been running with lpg for 800 miles now, just had first service and all is well.
Did a few tweeks today and the car feels even better.

Running cost are down from £70 a week to £36.
