I've not timed my 940 turbo so don't know but my other car does the following

1997 VW Passat 1.8 20V Turbo Sport
275 BHP
0-60 6.1 sec
0-100 9.9 sec

max speed 163

all the tests done with proper timing gear and on private test track

9.9 secs to 100, with only 275 bhp, that doesnt add up!, either u have more power or u have stripped that badboy, to weigh less than a ton??

What did you do to get 275bhp out of it??? - its 150bhp standard isn't it?

Good luck insuring ANY of those cars at 17!

Perhaps you should set your sights slightly lower?

I expect this has been said but how does a 6.1 second 0-60 equate to a 9.9 0-100?
My car does 0-100 in 11.5 seconds, that is with just shy of 360BHP and RWD.
So it just doesn't add up unless it weighs less than a mosquitos fart.

very easy
first the bottom end is good for a reliable 300bhp as standard on the engine code i'm using

on all passat 1.8T engines a simple chip upgrade will give between 200-220bhp.

I've added a larger IHI turbo, twin Audi RS4 intercoolers, uprated forge diverter valve, upsolute performance chip

I could easily take power to over 300bhp but as I use the car everyday I want to keep it nice and reliable

Sorry to go off on a tangent, but it is funny how probably no one will dispute that a simple software upgrade will yield up to an extra 70BHP on these engines, and yet everyone is up in arms when it is suggested that you can get another 65-70BHP out of a T5 engine with software alone.

89 740 GLE 2.3i
BHP - unknown after many miles 130k+
Top speed - Unknown Last time I hit a tonne the silver hot air feed mangled fan belts causing meltdown/breakdown due to air pressure (believe it or not, now removed).
0-60 longer than ideal but good enough.
