Default 2005 Folding mirror identification/part no

Could be doing with a new mirror for mine, have found one but not sure if it's electric folding or not.

From hoking around have seen folks mention 13wire is folding 11wire isn't. Assume this refers to the wires coming out of the mirror into the connector.
Is this correct or would anyone know the part number?

Cheers in advance

Hi, I guess it is highly unlikely you will be buying new, but I suggest looking on the 'bay' for folding mirror for XC90 of similar year. I have my03 and got my nearside wing mirror with powerfold and puddle light as well as adjustable heated mirror. I just searched on that l. The nearside one also has temperature sensor. And the following is a current example.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264512045814If for nearside (UK,).

Hope this helps

I think if there is a puddle light it is also powerfold ( I think)

If it is the nearside, if you look at the pic I sent, you will see, among the pictures, a part number on the underside.

Yours will have samd, in same position.

This should have part no on 5th pic.

If offside, further looking at eBay has an offside mirror with similar sticker but for offside.

Hope this helps

Cheers dude, it has 13 wires and puddle light so I might chance it if cheap enough! It's drivers (RH) side

I'm maybe being a bit dim, but and I've seen on ebay all seem to have different part numbers for some reason but are pre 2006 power folding.

Had seen others mention 11wire and 13wire

I agree it's very confusing.

There are earlier Volvo's with non powerfold. They appear to be less costly on eBay.

But this one looks correct and does have a part number on the last pic, but that could be confusing too. The part number appears to be 30745214, if you search the web on this, there seem to be Dutch and German wing mirror come up, and one has grey cover. So it appears they have colour codes too.

I really can't remember how many pins on my replacement. I know later models have addiitional features such as indicator repeaters and bliss, but these features came on later models.

I would suggest going for this one as it looks right.

Btw, my mirror had a broken cradle socket for the mirror, but sold it for parts on eBay as some just want other parts and in my case just the plastic surround. So you could recoup some cost.

Good luck!

Cheers, the casing on mine is taped up as cracked of pillar reversing into driveway but it's still fully working. Had seen this mirror going cheap and was going to take a punt if it was correct. Local breakers have one £99 but I'm loathed to pay that when I'm only changing for cosmetic reasons lol

Had noticed quite a few broken ones on ebay for parts!!!

If it has the puddle light and 13wires can I assume that it also folds??
Might just take a chance on it!
