  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

You said that money was an inheritance from your Grandma who was a company director?

Remember that doing this just masks the original fault which will still be there ...
A standard parking brake in good condition will lock the rear wheels with 2 clicks of the pedal .

I put the ones from the older S70 Volvo cars. These must be set once the rear brake disc is put back, we use a screw driver through a hole in the disc to set the adjusters. I have to say I am not impressed with the results. If there is anything, it will take away that 'free' move until the shoes lock the wheel. But this does not last long and soon it will be like before. As Clan says, if the handbrakes are not strong enough, the problem is somewhere else, and these adjusters - at least on my car - may not give much of an improvement
