Service schedule 5th service XC60
Hi
My Volvo XC60 is going to be due its 5th Service at 77500 miles. Anyone had this done or can put me in the right direction for information. Such as what needs doing or potential costs. Thanks Dean |

Thanks for the response.
My car is the D4 engine. Spoke to the dealer who talked about the Cambelt change and if the work was done now looking at four figure cost with the service ££££. Therefore like you say the cam belt can wait till 90k but something to think about given its going to cost a bit if completed at the main dealer. Yes i had the fourth service completed last year. |

Main dealer pricy for a belt and tensioner change, but they give a lifetime warranty on parts. So, if a belt of tensioner goes south within the programmed replacement period of years/miles you're sweet.
An independent will give a year at best, so if something breaks after 53 weeks you're up a certain brown watered creek without a means of propulsion. Even within 52 weeks they might try and fob you off and tell you your case is against the parts supplier - I've known something similar happen to someone - which is rubbish, but you then have a potentially expensive legal headache to resolve it. Thats the difference between good value, and simply cheap.
