Cool

Spotted them over the weekend.........so obviously there's more to the ad than meets the eye! Like problems ???.........Still, a nice project if space and time weren't a problem I suppose.

Or is it the "Amount not met" price which, on Ebay is such a total waste of time, that I'm suprised that anyone still uses it. Why doesn't the guy simply put a price that he wants and then then the buying market find its level. Either they will sell or not.

If not, he can shove them back into his barn, and wait until the roof caves in on them in another 40 years or so, and they will be worth nothing.

Some sellers !!

As 40 year old cars go these two are not beyond redemption, but both in my view would need quite a bit of bodywork restoration, and certainly more than I'm capable of doing, which is why I wouldn't want to buy either of them.

Practical Classics magazine has a Condition 3 164 valued at around the £300 mark, and that definition can include a road-legal car with an MoT, but acknowledges that a lot of fairly significant work would be needed.

This particular sale included a lot of new and used spares too, so for someone with the space, skills and budget to do the work, the project has potential.

Cheers

Jack
