XC90 Front and Rear Ashtray NCO

Hi,

As per subject what does this no cost option actually provide ?

I can imagine in the front that it is a removable ashtray pot of types that sits in one of the front cupholders and a cigaratte lighter element in the 12v socket ..but what about in the back ?

I don't smoke and havent specced this but wondered if I should in case without it there is no 12v socket on the rear of the arm rest as I need 12v in the rear for DVD players etc ?

Also does the rear ashtray replace the cup holders in the back of the arm rest or does it sit above them ..in which case does it take up space from within the arm rest ?

I did not order front & rear ashtray with my XC90, picked new car up 2day & has 12v socket on rear arm rest. Mine had ashtray (top) + cup holders (bottom) in back of arm rest too.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply ...but I am confused now !...sounds like you have rear ashtray even though you didn't order it so I will check with dealer on my car order and see if he can confirm any more details.

Just been out to check my xc90 and I have a rear 12v socket and rear ashtray above the rear cup holders . I presume they are a standard fitment and the smokers pack must be cigarette lighters and an ashtray in the front .

Delaer confirms ashtray pack just adds an ashtray "pot with lid" that sits in one of the cupholders in the front and can be removed so I have specced this to use as a coin holder.
