During the week I had a chance to speak to my insurers, and although they're happy with me using winter tyres, they are not keen on me swapping wheel sizes unless it's to a size approved by Volvo!

So it looks as if I'm stuck with 18" wheels for the winter too!

Volvo approve 17" tyres and wheels for your car. - assuming its a V60

Gave Moray a call and I'm now re thinking given good prices and potential grief off insurers. Decision now is whether to go with 16" wheels or take advantage of the fantastic price on ixion wheels vr4pedro also got.

Many thanks.
Hi Ian,

I've just posted a similar reply in another thread...

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=188667

These guys sell a 17" alloy set up for the V60 for £1050, or a 16" steel wheel set up for £710.

Hi,

Not sure about the protocols on here re mentioning prices but I'd give Moray a call - for very similar money you'd be running on official volvo gear with no potential insurance issues. ( Except the Ixion alloys are 18" :-) )
