Volvo Connect and Lease cars

Still awaiting delivery of a new personal lease on an S90 - so, whilst waiting, I'm busy researching and watching all of the associated YouTube reviews

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the Volvo Connect App with a leased vehicle (sounds an excellent product), from what I can gather on the documentation you will need to download the app / sit in the car and know the VIN number to activate the system (as well as create a Volvo ID online).

There is no mention of having to be the registered owner of the vehicle - but I can see a problem when you hand the car back and still have access to find the car / unlock the car etc..

Any thoughts??

The new owner can delete the linked email address, but I would expect the dealer to do this on receipt of the vehicle. I don't think you need the password to delete.

Yes the On-Call App is disabled by the dealer when the car is handed back.

I've literally had mine enabled today following my purchase of the car
