Default V70 ME7 ABS fault

Hi people, so my 1999 V70 ME7 has developed an intermittent fault on the ABS. The motor on the ABS unit keeps firing, even when not pressing the brake pedal sometimes. Really random when it does it.. brakes on or off, all over the place. I soldered all the dry joints in the ABS unit some years ago and it has been fine since. All the reluctor rings look OK, one is not brilliant but seen much worse. Wiring looks ok. Have tried to measure the wheel sensors with a digital ohm meter but can't get a reading.. why is this? only tried both front ones. Scanned with VIDA, no problems, no fault codes stored. Have cleaned all the rings and wheel sensors today and changed brake fluid.. any ideas? Brake pedal switch? Would that do it? Any help appreciated.

Interested to find out what your problem is, having a similar issue on my 1998 V70. ABS comes on at low speed braking.
Waiting for a replacement ABS pump/control unit to arrive, had problem finding one with matching part numbers, many seem to have 6 pipes mine only has 5
Have checked wheel sensors and reluctor rings, look okay and no fault codes stored.
