Default XC 60 EPB Fitting instructions.

Hi all,

Just bought a set of OEM rear pads on line for £40 and they come with new springs, caliper bolts, pads (of course!) and Volvo official fitting instructions.
Simple tools needed.

Here for all you DIYers are the instructions.

Have fun

Thanks for this.

I have always done the EPB motor removal as the instructions.

In VIDA you can set the EPB to a service position which I guess backs the motor off to its most open position.

Does anyone know if this would remove the need to remove the EPB motor?

If you use VIDA or the alternative 9/12v spare battery method you do not have to remove the motor. Note that, whichever of the three methods you use to retract the EPB, the caliper piston is not connected to it and still has to be pushed/levered back manually.
