Default Brake discs

Good morning gents.

Time for new discs me thinks.

Was looking to get these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-S40-...item35ce954a61

Being Brembo i take it they will be good, any reasons why i should not get these?

Cheers

Mintex are good, anything with a name is good,I just wouldn't go down the cheap cheap route when it comes to brakes,I used v tech discs once never again the car braking was seriously reduced almost had to stand on the brake pedal for it to stop,my brembo's have never been an issue and that's why I have used them, there on race cars so they have the right credentials.

Did you prep the surface correctly moeeb ,wire brush attachment and brake cleaner, also the right torque settings on all the bolts, often over looked by people and will cause brakes to malfunction.

Mintex for me too.

I fitted a front set to mine three years ago and were still spot on.

Only replaced them as I fitted Arcadias and wanted nicer discs behind them, so went for more Mintex pads with dimpled and grooved discs all round.

As already said, named discs should all be fine. Avoid the cheapies and some folks (skyship007) will say, "Only buy OEM and only if they are TUV approved" or your car will never stop again, EVER!!! :-)
