  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

So, following your formula, Oilydad, every motorist should be banned from the road until they have proof of insurance - I think that is how it works now, however - I ask everyone, how many of us have driven without one of the trinity required for full legal motoring.
The example of one psycho can not tar all with the same brush.
The legal process is there to tie up all loose ends, e.g. all of us who pay our insurance have a small percentage paid to a pool of money which protects us against un-insured drivers.
I would still like to know how a cyclist insurance policy would work.
How is little Emma on her pink pavement bike expected to conform?
Are you going to run her down because of her possible unintentional wrecklessness?
I think all motorists should have a mental health check before they drive - on a daily basis, however I know that is impossible to enforce. It would reduce the increasing incidences of road rage!
