Default key fob casing

A small mishap with one of the smaller members of the family... The result is a broken remote fob case (the important bit that clips to the key ring!).

Does anyone have a spare? Not worried about the circuit board, as I'll swap it for mine.

Is it the combined "flip" key and fob, or the fob that's seperate to the key? - if it's the latter then a new pattern replacement only costs a little over a pound.

Thanks, It's 2 button fob that's separate from the key. I'd like to keep it (even 'aged') Volvo if possible, but thanks for the link - may end up getting one that way.

I bought a cheapo replacement fob from China when I had my first S40 and I've got to say that the quality was surprisingly good. If I remember correctly I did keep my original buttons as they had a better "feel" than the ones that came with the new fob, but overall I was quite impressed with the quality of the replacement.

I did exactly the same, I had to file away a little bit of the button hole to make them fit properly but my genuine buttons were so much nicer. My fob also has a 'Volvo' bit where the ones with a boot lift button are, so I got one of those and swapped that bit too

Default remote fob for V90 (1997)

I have suffered a broken fob where it clips to the key ring. My fob has two buttons but one above the other so the cases mentioned herein would not work. Does anyone know of a different case that I could consider?

The V90 and 850 of that era share the same fobs so try posting in the 850 wants subforum. You can also repair your existing fob by replacing the original tether with a suitable piece of leather.
