Hi, I am new here. I'd be interested in meeting up. When are you thinking?

Unhappy Re Bolton Abbey

It would seem that no response means no.
I would like to thank everyone who supported the section. I will be at Sledmere but after that I am done trying to motivate you. Do not moan when you have nothing.

Hi David, me & my wife were thinking we might join you at Bolton Abbey depending on date and weather as we would be travelling from Manchester. We did go along to the Oil Can cafe meet, but we were ushered into the car park on the right, with our red C70. Think we were the first to arrive, so went to get something to eat. When we came out several Volvos were parked up in the other car park, but no owners in sight. We waited around for a while, in the rain, but nobody came back to their cars, so we left. As this was our first attempt to meet up we had no way of identifying any of the other forum members. If the Bolton Abbey meet falls through we'll try and make it to Sledmere, where hopefully owners will be with there cars.
Look forward to meeting up at some point.

It is so frustrating when you post ideas, days go by no comment. I try to be inclusive to both male and female so that a day out is fair to both. I love the section but your support is needed without it there is nothing. I hope you all understand.

Smile Sledmere June meet

I contacted the venue with a view to putting a section display. Now do not over think it I mean a selection of volvo’s new old mid range. A display of proud owners. You do not have to be perfect but proud of your mark. They have asked how many etc. So I need commitment if you want to be part. Please do not agree then no show. I will do my best to get them to let us.
Let me know and what you want to show. Mine a 2006 V50 T5 174000 miles I am proud to show what I have.
Let me know in the next 10 day’s.

Sorry we didn't meet up, I actually saw your C70 when myself and the wife arrived, didn't realise you were popping along to the meet, hope to see you again soon. P.S. the C70 looked quite tasty.
