My last list posted, all owned or driven when they were new. The Hotchkiss Anjou is a connoisseurs choice - my Dad's Commanding Officer had one, it was oldish then.

I really liked the Alfa 75, drove one in a convoy from the factory in Italy back in the day.

I'd have to add a few motorcycles -

Buell M2 Cyclone (wish I'd never sold that)
Bimota SB2
Ducati Darmah
Kawasaki Z1R
Laverda Jota
Rickman CR750
Suzuki GS1000E.

Jon.

N.B below, on my bucket list !

I can't get to 200, probably 60 or so. Agree there's a difference between best and favourite. I also struggle like heck to come to five per country. If I were to write my list again today there would be a few changes. I'd dearly love enough space to be able to have more than I do today. My favourites would be the Mk2 Cortina Savage Estate, Jag XJ6 S1 Man o/d, Sunbeam Imp Sport (998), my first CX, and the 9-5 Aero Stage 3+ estate that just left the premises.

Had to look up the hotchkiss Jon, lovely. Did you think there was a huge difference between 75 and sz. Monstro looks I love, many say it was a great handler, but I know a few guys who drove one and described it as a 75 with less space and an ugly hat!!

Heckflosse, not surprised to see a Fintail on your list!

Some excellent choices in there. Can't think how I forgot the GK or the Panhard. I was tempted to go for the K70 on the basis that's where the Golf, Passat etc came from.

Given the Sprint Zagato was based on the 75 there were similarities of course. I didn't drive them back to back so wasn't able to compare and contrast - nonetheless I liked both despite their shortcomings.

I drove many 75s and one all the way back to the UK from Italy (as mentioned), but only drove the SZ around Dover (where Alfa Romeo GB was based at the time).

Jon.

No Kias, Daewoos or SSangyyongs yet?
Any Eastern Bloc favourites? Chaikas, Zils and Volgas perhaps?
Don't all rush.
An entertaining thread, and so good natured.
