Default water in drivers footwell and spare wheel recesss v 50 estat

recently bought 06 V 50 DIESEL ESTATE found water in drivers footwell and also in spare recess, under rear seats too was wet. iT HAS 135,000 miles. nice clean car dried out footwell then left for 2 days when rained car never moved and water back ,spare recess ok. have had car on ramp and looks ok underneath . has had windscreen changed at some point which is not volvo screen, has anyone any ideas please how to stop leak?

In reply to your posting, I am thinking you might have a sunroof. If that is the case, there are plenty of related posts on here which I found incredibly useful when trying to sort out the water in my passenger footwell

Had the same problem with my v50 with a sunroof drains
An easy fix drying the carpets is the difficult part
