Central lock system slow.

Hello! As a disclaimer I am not really a car-guy, just an owner of a V40.

I wonder if anyone know how to make my central lock system work properly on my V40 2002 mod. Right now they are really slow. I have to push the lock repeatedly to lock the car remotely and unlock repeatedly to unlock it. If i unlock/lock the door physically with the steel bit of the key and not the fob, the fob can unlock/lock it a bit faster. I hope someone can help me =)

it's a 2002 volvo v40 1.9hk td 75th annerversary ed.

Buy a can WD40 ,and give your lock(s) on the door a good spray while using it.
