Stop on D

2004 XC70 D5 awd.

Anybody with this kind of ....Thing.

When i stop in drive after the car comes to a full stop not only i hear a down owl like a Audi s1 blow up valve , its like a down rotating sound. After the car stop its kind a give to small 2 push forward like he wants to go. And i dont have my foot on the gas??? Like its trying to engage first gear???

Anybody with the same issue?

See if your transmission fluid is clean or not. If not, get it clean with several drain & fills or a pump out via a disconnected cooling line. This is commonly called "The Gibbons Method".

See if your alternator is freewheeling correctly. If the pulley (the freewheel) is jammed it can effect deceleration.
