Default Nevada consultants and Santander finance end ofblease

Evening all
My lease isn't up until June but I am thinking what if anything is worth getting repaired as opposed to getting the bill from the finance company.
I have never had a lease to hand back before so not sure how strict they are over wear and tear.
I know this is laid out somewhere but for things like allow wheel scratches is it worth getting one repaired (as one has quite a nasty curb incident) or is it cheaper getting the bill at the end?

Can anyone share experiences? I imagine alot has to do with who you get as well.

Thanks

This is the Alphabet link to the BVLRA guidelines...most lease companies work to these principles...

Ask if they have a menu price approach to damage beyond fair wear and tear. Many do. On mine wheel scuffing damage is capped at £50 I think
