Default serious issues help and advice please

V50 2,0D 2004

so last night coming home in my 180,000 car she played up an now is in real ill health.

pulled away hard form traffic lights, she bogged down as if I was in third gear..
dipped clutch n tried again. now the clutch has been rattling for awhile, (thrust bearing it sounds) anyway floored it an went to change into second an when i dipped the clutch the revs went flat out into the red, changed quickly an then again revs straight into the red!! did this right into 6th... so went to change down an she cut out...

from there the clutch has sounded like a bag of bolts, seems to be a blowing noise from the exhaust. pulls hard through gears as if nothing wrong.

tried to start this morning to see whats occurred an she struggled to fire up. clouds of smoke out the back and from engine bay. now it was as if she was on just 1 or 2 cylinders until heat built up before you could get any revs into her... clouds n clouds of smoke.
no oil loss at all, not water in oil either.

rev climb clean an hard from 2000rpm

so did the cat bloke an the pressure blow a hole? have i got injector stuck?
need complete clutch kit i think, 5 hours plus parts?

have spoken to a trusted garage that said they had one with similar running problem, they cleared the codes an it has been perfect since. they are 200 miles away as i have just move an unable to get the car back there.

any reliable friendlies in stow on the wold Gloucestershire area can help?

I know clutch is going to be steep an ca around £120 but really dont wish to scrap her just yet!!

all advice appreciated

Dan

Sounds more like turbo failure to me.

Google diesel runaway.
