Bluetooth module in 2010 XC90 Executive
Hi All,
I do love scanning through this forum and could quite happily spend the whole evening doing so.. Anyway, I have just bought myself a 2010 XC90 Executive with a few niggles. There is a bluetooth option installed with the blue box fitted, but there is no life in it at all.. There are two inline 5A fuses and both check out fine. I have even checked that there is 12v to both and there is. The controller does not light up at all.. There is a factory phone fitted as well and it has the 'on call service required' message showing.. Any ideas? Thanks. |

I have exactly the problem as you have. Did think about looking behind centre console put the rain has but me off. So was going to go into the main dealer near me to see if they can give me some hints why it is not working. Peter |

I know it's a completely different car, with completely different kit, but I had this issue on a Honda Accord that I bought used that should have had built in Bluetooth, but was similarly dead.
Turned out that there were dry joints on the Bluetooth module circuit board. I was able to re-solder the bad connections and it came back to life. Might be something similar with this problem. |
