I replaced my steering wheel against a custom wrapped one by RedlineGoods.com
Is a little bit too bright/light but will be getting a darker colour one in the next few days/weeks

Took my beastie M3 Mountfield lawnmower back to get the drive band refitted after it failed and collected it in the same day. The 240 wagon could have got two or three of them in the back.

Drove from Ashton Under Lyne to Telford this morning and drove to my Mothers house (a couple of miles away) this afternoon.

Drove 50 miles to Aircon Direct to get the aircon clutch shims adjusted. Every dealer, independent, garage and other aircon 'specialists' refused to or couldn't do this and wanted to replace the compressor. £70 or £200+, you decide.....
Aircon working properly now, just waiting for summer to arrive. |

Started it (1st time for a month), pumped up a couple of soft tyres, managed to fold my crook leg into the drivers side and pump the brakes a few times. Knee didn't really like it so didn't actually go anywhere - probably a couple of weeks to go yet :-(

This week my little Volvo has had a fair beating. It's been to Leith twice (180m round trip), Greenock twice (120m round trip), Glasgow once (100m) and Stranraer once (130m) - it's not used to that - so i spent the afternoon washing and polishing it, tomorrow it will need another two front tyres and then tracking as the passenger side one is wearing funny.
On the up side, today i was on board one of our company ships for lunch in Leith, visited the HMY Britannia and saw lots of old friends! Also passed a few exams with the Maritime & Coastguard Agency to let me play with some more toys at sea.
