More advise please!
We have managed to get the top of the engine off - this is what it looks like:
2013-07-31 20.03.30.jpg Apologies, for this but working from a Haynes manual and never put more than oil in the car...... The valves are under the round silver bits? To check the valves do we just take them out and look to see if they are bent or not? Do they have to be taken out in any special order? If any of them are bent can you just put in a new one? Decided to take it apart ourselves after getting a quote of £300/£400 to take the top off and thought that we had nothing to lose as it doesn't go anyway! The pulley just broke to bits and is in about 5 pieces now. Thanks :-) |
