Engine Start button fallen off
Afternoon all. Yet another fault with my Friday afternoon S60 as the engine start button has fallen off. One of the clips has broken - does anyone know if it’s just a case of buying another button and clipping it in?

The start button will have been fitted to the dash with the loom by Volvo's supplier ( IAC in Gothenburg, right next to the Volvo factory). Make a fuss, Volvo will claim any costs for substandard quality against IAC.

Thanks Graham, would that still apply to a 2012 car out of warranty? It looks like the button should just clip in but I hope you can buy it without buying the whole assembly

Doubt you can buy the switch cover by itself but a breaker may sell you the entire switch assembly?

I went to Lincoln Volvo today, you can’t buy the button on it’s own but the replacement parts are £22+VAT and about 25 minutes labour to fit, so not as bad as I feared. Still, my luck has to change with this car...
