Default t5 no turbo boost?

Hi, i have little or no turbo boost on 2000 t5.
Its done 190k with fsh. Car does not miss a beat, oil and water fine.
Wastegate is opening and closing ok, took air inlet pipe off and turbo spins free with very little end float.
I cant find any leaks apart from a slight exhast blow, but the turbo spools fine.
I pulled the red pipe off TCV, no difference?
It appears to of had a maf sensor core replaced at some time, a mate reckoned they are crap and to replace it with a proper one.
I just wondered if anyone has had similar problems and how they resolved it before i start throwing money at it.
Cheers marti

Hi Marti, I was told to check the one way (non return Valves). The one under the inlet manifold is definely fu*ked so Ive ordered two one for the pipe that goes to the inlet pipe by the turbo. Hopefilly I should be able to fit tomorrow afternoon.
Bye the way, mine runs fine but only gives 8-9 lb of boost.

Thanks Brian i will look into that,
I made the classic mistake of looking too hard, so i stepped back and took the intercooler outfeed pipe off (poor boost)
Intercooler infeed loads of boost!!
Got crappy oil deposits everywhere, pcv valve, turbo seals??
Will take it to local radiator repairers to flush it properly.
Hope this helps others, i was looking for leaks not blockages!!

I'm still down on power!
So put on scanner and again codes, but the following came up
2air n/a
Hcm n/a
Evap n/a
Egr. N/a
A/c. N/a
So started at air filter- like new!
Maf sensor has 4 wires
Pos 1 blank
Pos 2 green (12v)
Pos 3 grey/white (earth)
Pos 4 purple/white (constant 5v)
Pos 5 1.1-2.8v
I think sensor ok but made no difference when unplugged?
