460 won't pass 3000 RPM, possible computer problem.
My 1991 Volvo 460 accelerates fine up to 3000 RPM, but when it gets there it stops accelerating, as if it disconnected the engine on those RPM's/
I think it can be because of the management computer (Not sure how it's called in english). I need to know where I can fix it, if at all possible. The Volvo Dealer won't help me. Any suggestions? |

That happened to me too but on a motor bike. It was a two-stoke and carbon flakes blocked the pipes. Took me ages to sort as I virtually rebuilt the b...dy engine before I found out.
