They suggested I get it checked out just in case there's an issue that leads to a blocked filter.

Does anyone know if this would be expected if the active regeneration fails due to a short dual carriageway run (3 miles) on the way to the garage? And would it clear the code once taken out on a decent motorway run?

Thanks
There was another query by someone along the same lines some time ago and if I remember correctly it just means the regeneration was interrupted. It needs 20 minuets I believe. The engine needs to be fully warmed up and not stopped while it is regenerating. I should complete when you go for a longer run.

Had `Soot filter full' message come up and got local garage look at it and turnd out that the Diesel Particulate Sensor had packed up, so didn't tell car to regen. £120 to buy.

All seems ok now..
