Default Wanted: 240 GLT Estate

Hi guys,

I'm after a decent 240 GLT estate - Would consider other trim levels, but the GLT would be my favourite!

Now I have to tell you that we currently have a family issue that needs to be resolved (I won't bore you with details!), so it would be 6 weeks before I could commit to buy...

A few things are essential...

#1. It MUST be an estate
#2. Would prefer a full 12 month MOT, I won't even consider anything less than 10 months!
#3. Some tax, at least a couple of months
#4. No vehicles with astronomical mileages!
#5. Must be free from rot!
#6. Minor (very minor) bodywork issues are okay (it will be 17yrs old so I'm realistic!)
#7. As much service history as possible
#8. ALL electrics must work as intended, including rear lights, heated rear screen, air con etc etc.

My current budget is around £1200 - But that will increase by approx £100 per month from the date of this message....

We currently have a motobility lease hire vehicle that still has another year to go, so I'm not in a mad rush to buy the first thing that's offered, but having said that, if the right vehicle came along I would buy now rather than miss it, Apart from the 6 week proviso mentioned above!

Regards
Eddy

Nick,

I cannot reply to your PM as I don't have enough posts!! God that's an infuriating thing on this forum!!

If you can let me have your email address I'll reply using that. I have no wish to discuss a private deal on a public forum.

Regards
Eddy

Eddy,

You can get your PM sending facility switched on here:

Nick's visiting Yorkshire soon for a few days in the GLT, including a visit to the Northern BKV at Wetherby on 1st August. A bit more convenient for you than Elgin!

Rgds

John

good luck with the search, although i think it may be a long one with your wish list!! most glt have high miles as they have been driven rear electrics are a doddle to fix and if you get one that works you will in the end have to fix them sooner or later!!!

Could someone please PM Nick_Ovlov and let him know I'm trying to contact him?

I see he's been on a few times today, and can only assume he's missed my message above...

I've asked for PM access, but so far no joy - The admins on here don't really seem to rush themselves!

I just don't want Nick to think I'm ignoring him!!

Regards
Eddy

PM to Nick is done Eddy.
