Default Upgraded to 22 V90 Recharge - lost Curve Speed Assist

Upgraded from 2019 V90 Momentum to a 22(.5) V90 Recharge Inscription AAOS

One feature that is missing, and is also a significant step backwards from a safety perspective - there is no Curve Speed Assist

When it appeared halfway through my time with the last car, I came to love Curve Speed Assist. The fact the car when on Pilot Assist would slow down for corners made A road driving relaxing.

Given that Volvo are aiming for uncrashable cars, the fact it isn't an option on 22 and 23 cars seems a step backwards.

Probably related to moving to Google Mapping because it relied on map data.

Wish it would make a return.

AAOS is proving to be quite a disappointment, with many useful features that were previously available on Sensus being no longer available.

You could try emailing Volvo at custcare@volvocars.com to make your views known. If they get enough feedback from customers it may help them prioritise new features as they play catch up.

Or you could arrange for a delivery of semiconductors to Gothenburg, because that is what is driving all this. When supply issues do make deletions necessary they have to do so in a manner that won't affect the remaining systems, and that can sometimes lead to some bizarre deletions.

Ford in North America have taking to buying up entire deliveries of washing machies to harvest them for their chips just to keep production running, never mind maintaining any semblance of the original spec.

Not sure how an email to volvo will change any of that.

If the lack of Curve Speed Assist is indeed down to a shortage of semiconductors then fair enough. But AAOS is also lacking in many features that are entirely software-related and hence should be fixable.
