For Sale is my 2003 V40 1,8 Sport 122 bhp

MOT until Sept 2015
No tax as it will be transferred
143, 539 miles

Metallic Grey
Full Black Leather interior ( no tears)
17" Arcadia Wheels with Avon ZV5 Tyres (decent tread on all 4)
Towbar and Electrics fitted
Original Volvo single DIN adaptor fro head unit ( Original stereo will come with the car)

I've owned it since Feb 2013 and its been my daily driver for work all over the UK and for weekend use and its been a great multi purpose car. Its is in good condition for its age but does have a couple of marks, the worst being a 1.5 inch scratch to the rear offside pillar and a stone has cracked the offside front indicator but this hasn't failed an MOT.

It has recently had:

Oil change, filter and engine flush
Spark Plugs
1 new Coil Pack
Exhaust, Centre section and Rear section
New Brake discs and pads all round.
VVT Pulley replaced in September 2014
All the heater control bulbs and light switch bulbs have been changed and are all working.

It does however , have a few faults, these are:
Cracked windscreen
Airbag light is on (loose connection under front seat as it happens when it is valeted)
The side marker lights have just started to stay on when the ignition is off
( Haven't a clue why, sorry)

I'm selling as I just don't have the time to get these little bits done to make this a decent car. Its for sale on here first as I'd rather sell it on here as someone on here will probably be able to spend a weekend on this to get these niggles sorted out.
I do not want to break it as its way too good for that so that is not an option.
Someone who has a weekend or two and the knowledge will get a decent car and I'll be sad to see it go.

It's up for sale at £800 and I am open to sensible offers.
I've already had someone local offer 200 quid and can I fill it up with petrol (yeah right of course I will!) They were told to not waste my time and theirs.

Cheap car. Worth much more. Sadly these cars only fetch a low price. I have a 65k miler and that is only coming in around a grand.

Yeah they are definitely a lot of car for the money now.

They do vary a lot in money too, saw one same age as mine with similar mileage on Ebay for £1500 and another for £1000.

Makes both of ours very cheap cars...

Yeah its crazy and yet no-one seems to want it. Apart from the joker who offered roughly the same for the entire car as what you said the wheels are worth!!!
