Springs and dampers were fitted at the same time

Just an update. Replaced the new bilstein for the old Monroe shocks. Completely stopped the banging noise. I don't know if it makes any difference but the Monroes were 25mm longer than the bilsteins. Now just the new springs to test. Mike

That is a good outcome. If you have fixed the problem why bother changing the springs again? If it ain’t broke...
