302 brake upgrade or Renault Megane alternative?
I'm hoping to find some brackets to fit some 302mm brakes to my T-5R, but I've also heard it's possible to fit Renault Megane brakes on 310mm discs — is this true and what's involved?

The easiest upgrade is to fit 302s. You'll need the caliper carriers and longer brake hoses - and the discs of course. The calipers and pads are the same.
They do give a (slightly) noticeable improvement - the main benefit is that the 302s fade less than 280s. I think the Megane conversion (and similar) will be much more expensive - but the 320mm brakes on my last S40 D5 were superb, so if you can afford it (and your insurer allows it) then it'd be a great upgrade. But for normal daily driving, 302s with decent pads should suffice.

302's are still rubbish! I have a P2 t5 and the brakes on that are far superior!!
I think it weighs twice as much as well
