Yes, if someone can confirm (or not) that the steering wheel interface for up to 2004 S60/V70XC70 would work with later cars, that would be halpful.

Thanks for you help Stuart :-)

Just an update, had a chance to look underneath, and the undertray is missing completely. So the tapping sound is not that. It may be drop links, but doesn't sound like them (will likely replace in due course anyway, recommendations of good places to buy Meyle ones from gratefully received).

And anyone who has a spare undertray (and a black load bay cover) for a P2 V70/XC70, fairly local to Gloucester please get in touch!

Just an update
The tapping was the drop links - not replaced and all silent.
I believe the electrical issues are down to dirty connectors on the central electronic module.

However, since having the car, I have found it was, to use the legal terms 'significantly not as described', and also 'not of satisfactory quality', due to the number of faults present.

I have tried to contact the dealer, however he is choosing not to respond..... He has had a letter legally rejecting the car (sent recorded delivery and a copy via email), within the 30 day legal limit.

He has also had a 'Letter Before Action', as I will take him to Small Claims track of the County Court next.

If anyone reading this is in Bradford, near postcode BD7 2PZ, I would be grateful if you could message me, I would like to ask something. Thanks!
