Default Flashing engine management light.

I’m getting a flashing engine management light on ignition position one when engine isn’t on. I made a video showing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Break out a reader and see if you can get a code(s).
I don't know what a flashing CEL means or if there's a 'blink code' perhaps with a schedule of flashes.

A flashing CEL could mean "pending codes". Write down whatever codes you retrieve then erase them. A condition and it's light, may not return.

No engine faults or anything coming up. It’s a strange one.

Google found this, suggesting a pending issue…. It only seems to happen on petrol cars, which I see yours is.

Amazing thank you. I did recently replace a coil pack due to a missfire, maybe it’s for that?

If you got anything plugged into obd like a add on display it simply means "reading obd"
