Can't answer that specifically but I will issue the standard warning notice..
to get at it you need to first dislodge the Aircon (CCM) module and if you unplug that with the battery still connected you will throw a SRS code that needs VIDA to clear it if you have VIDA that's fine, if not it'll cost you at a dealership or indie either leave it connected and just swivel it out the way which is what I do, or have the battery unplugged until it's reconnected |

Your phone might not be that useless. @marekbm has developed a product so you can use the existing equipment but connect to it via bluetooth with your current phone. The thread is here:
https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?p=2645269 I've got one and can't recommend it enough, it's a brilliant. |

I've removed the 'phone on mine.
You'll need to get the software removed with VIDA - a VIDA account is needed to do this, take it to a specialist. Otherwise you'll get software errors. (not expensive, mine was £20 to remove s/w). You can't do this without a VIDA account. Then remove handset from centre console & remove audio to remove 'phone buttons & replace with cup holder - there's a fair bit of dismantling to do this but it's not difficult.
